About
We were married on May 7, 2005 in Houston, Texas. Shortly after we were married, Dan left his job in banking to enter seminary. He went a year at the Houston satellite campus of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. On June 18, 2006, we moved to Louisville, Kentucky so that he could attend The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Jen took a job working for her favorite online shoe retailer – Zappos.com. Dan has since completed his Master of Divinity degree and is working on his Ph.D. in New Testament.
Our first daughter, Dinah, was born on December 16, 2008 and has been delighting us ever since with feats of genius and hilarity. Her sister, the amazing and talented Sophia, will arrive on 7/27 and begin delighting the three of us with wonders unknown to the current world.
We love our church family at Kenwood Baptist Church. Jen enjoys reading, knitting, watching movies and mini-series based on old English novels (Jane Austen and Elizabeth Gaskell), reorganizing chunks of our abode, and dragging Dan to yarn stores. Dan enjoys reading, reorganizing his books, playing RBI baseball, flyfishing, and dragging Jen to bookstores. Dinah enjoys cheese, bubbles, ceiling fans, and dragging mommy and daddy throughout the apartment all day long.
