Dan and Jen’s Blog

Today is your 15 month birthday, Sweet Girl! We love you so much! You are such a joy and a blessing to us and we are so thrilled that the Lord has entrusted you to us!

Here’s a little about Dinah at 15 months:

• You love that you’re almost completely eating table food now.  Your favorites: green beans, pasta with red sauce, macaroni and cheese and hot dogs, corn, pot roast, black beans, peaches, and pears (and of course, anything that mommy and daddy are eating)
• You’ve started standing for a few seconds here and there on your own.  You’re not walking on your own, but you’re good at it with a finger or two of help or some Walking Wings.  You choose to crawl most of the time and you’re so fast at it.
• You LOVE books and have starting bringing books to mommy and daddy to read to you.  We think this is precious and take you up on your offer as often as possible.
• You are still a big fan of Baby Einstein videos and will watch, mesmerized, for as long as we’ll let you (this is the only opportunity that we have to clip your fingernails–you’re such a busy girl!)
• You have 6 teeth and the most beautiful smile!
• At your Well Baby checkup this morning, you were in the 50th percentile in weight and head circumference and 25th percentile in height.  You’re on target with clothes (currently in 12-18 month), but you still wear 6-12 month shoes because you have tiny feet.
• You love to laugh and play and have the most infectious laugh.  Two minutes of making you laugh makes our whole day!
• You love bubbles and laugh and smile while we play with them and cry and fuss every time we put them away
