Dan and Jen’s Blog

Last weekend Dan and I had a wonderful opportunity to get out and have an evening to ourselves. So with Dinah fed, bathed, and all ready for bed, we left her in the capable hands of our dear friends, Josh and Jenn. We hustled our way to watch Sherlock Holmes, a highly entertaining film (Dan says moderately entertaining). It was not at all what we were expecting, but it was free of sex and, from what I can remember, cursing, and had a very interesting plot, not to mention fascinating story-telling and superb special effects. We really enjoyed the experience, mostly because we got to listen to the movie with no limitations on the volume, Dan got to have movie-theater popcorn, and I got to have nachos (I love that fake cheese!). After that, we headed to Texas Roadhouse for yummy steak dinners before returning home. It was a great date. Thanks Josh and Jenn!
