Dan and Jen’s Blog

I can’t believe my baby girl is 14 months old today!  She is such a joy to us, we can’t even express it properly!

Here’s some fun facts:

• she’s cruising around like crazy: whether it’s a table, or a sofa, or someone’s leg, she’ll use it to get where she wants to go
• she can walk really well by holding someone’s fingers
• she has five teeth: thanks to her hitting her mouth on the coffee table and cutting her gums where a tooth was working on coming in
• she still puts tons of stuff into her mouth
• she enjoys crushing Cheerios, which gets her in trouble (she makes a colossal mess)
• she still really likes to pick up a Cheerio with one finger and eat it
• she is absolutely hilarious to watch on the video monitor while she’s in her crib, she moves around soooo much (and sleeps with her bum up in the air and her face in her blanket)
• she likes to drink out of her sippy cup out of the side of her mouth
• she had her first hair cut 2 weeks ago, such a big girl!
• when she crawls very purposefully, she puts her head down to increase her speed
• she LOVES table food (she’ll eat ANYTHING off mommy and daddy’s plates)
• she could eat her weight in green beans
• she loves to read books
• she’s using the signs for “more” and “all done” all the time now, but we’re not entirely certain she’s grasped the concepts (since she sometimes uses them at the same time)
