A few years ago, I had a student return to school after a day’s absence. He had visited the doctor to have a full-grown roach removed from his ear.

unfortunately, the full grown roach thing is not that uncommon among kids….apparently, those suckers back right out of the ear canal when you pour liquid in….eewwww!
